Tropical Island (Environment)

For the project. I wanted to create a island that i can explore in real time and so I created a house. I first went onto illustrator to design the floor plan of the house. Then I exported it into 3dsMax.

Before I proceeded to build the house In 3dsMax. I made sure the floor plan scale and dimension is correct. After that I started to model the floor plan to create the house and the furniture's. After that I UV Mapped it. Then I went on Marvelous Designer to create the extra furniture asset for bedroom. I then went onto World Creator 2 to create the terrain for the height map landscape for the island.

I then exported the height map into Unreal Engine. Then I went onto Substance Sampler to create the textures for the island and for the house. After that I went onto Unreal Engine 4 to import the assets and the house. Then I sculpt the area's on the landscape to place the house on to it. Then I add foliage's, sky system and the ocean in the scene. Then I rendered the scene and used After Effects for the final shots.
